For Online Participants:
For online participants, the main webinar tool to be used is the Zoom platform; the first thing you need to do is download the Zoom app. You can do this by visiting the Zoom website (https://zoom.us/link) and clicking on the “Download” button. Follow the instructions provided to install the software on your computer or mobile device.
After downloading the app, the next step is to sign up for an account. Click the “Sign Up, It’s Free” button and enter your email address and other required information. Once you’ve created your account, you’re ready to join a meeting.
To join a meeting, you’ll need the meeting ID or link provided by the host (ICDF Committee will provide the official link soon to your respective email address provided during the registration). Click on the link or enter the meeting ID in the Zoom app. You may need to enter a password as well. Before joining the meeting, testing your audio and video is important. This ensures that you can hear and be heard by other participants, as well as see and be seen if the video is enabled. You can do this by clicking the “Test Computer Audio” or “Test Video” button in the Zoom app. Once you’ve verified that your audio and video are working properly, you’re ready to join the meeting and participate in the discussion.
Equipment Needed
Online participants and conference presenters must use computers with stable internet connection. We also recommend that presenters open their cameras during their presentations. Moreover, we request online participants to open their cameras during the conference and turn off their microphones when not in use.
In-Person Participants
The main venue for the International Convention on Digital Frontier will take place on April 12-14, 2023, 3rd Floor of the HERO Learning Commons Activity Center, Caraga State University, in Ampayon, Butuan City, Philippines.
